David Ash is a British photographer/Director now residing in the US.

Ash’s work has been exhibited at the Photographers’ Gallery London, Association Gallery and Braganza Gallery in London. His portrait work is included in Great Britain’s National Portrait Gallery’s permanent collection. Ash has received several awards including the prestigious Vogue Sotheby’s Cecil Beaton Award and ELLE Magazine Photo Award. Image Magazine featured Ash as “Photographer for the 90’s”.

He is a graduate of the Medway College of Design in Film and Photography. Early in his career, Ash worked in New York and London assisting prominent photographers such as Barry Lategan, Bruce Weber and Bert Stern.

Ash’s photography has been featured in numerous publications including Marie Claire, GQ, Nylon, Detour, Fortune, Wired, The Financial Times, The Observer and Harper’s Bazaar

He currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
